Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, Francis Joseph Morrisey, Korean War Veteran of Brigus, aged 82 years. Predeceased by his parents, Patrick & Mary (nee Shea), sister, Mercedes (Gus). Leaving to mourn with loving memories his devoted wife & life long companion, Winnie (nee Piercey), son, Jerome (Noreen), daughter, Dianne (Matt) & cherished grandson, Mitchell, brothers, Aiden (Doreen), Leo (Clarice), also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 7-9 p.m., Friday, July 4, 2014 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., 2-4 pm & 7-9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church, Brigus with interment to follow in the R.C.
