Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, W. Charles Eddy of Victoria, age 87 years. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Elizabeth, half brothers and sisters: Jack, Carrie, Louise, Gordon, Hector, Andrew and Doris, sister-in-law: Ruby. Leaving to mourn, wife: Hilda; daughter: Joy (Roland) Smith, Spaniard's Bay; two grandchildren: Tiffany (Patrick) and Victoria; brothers-in-law: Fred (Belinda) Cramm and Gordon (Rosalyn) Cramm, both of Old Perlican; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, July 11 at 1:30 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
