The family of the late Milton Joseph MacKenzie regret to announce his passing on July 14, 2014, at the Glace Bay Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Glace Bay, N.S., Milton was the son of the late John and Jessie (Campbell) MacKenzie.
Milton will be dearly missed by his sons, Connie (Megan) and Terry (Carmelita) along with his grandchildren, Kinnon, Joshua, Sunni and Carter. Also left to mourn his passing are brothers, Aubrey (Shirley), Buddie, Alfred (Pat), Johnny (Rita); sisters, Arlene (John) McVarish, all of Glace Bay, and Carmel (Len), Ontario, and many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours.
Milton was predeceased by his loving wife Bernadette (Farrell), sister Faye Van DenBossche and two brothers in infancy.
Visitation for Milton will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Thursday July 17 at Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. Funeral Mass of Chris­tian Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, July 18 at St Anne's Church. Interment in the parish cemetery.
