It is with great sadness that the family of the late Terry Slaney of Lethbridge, AB formerly of Spanish Room announces his passing in Lethbridge, AB, on Wednesday, July 9th, 2014, at the age of 37. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Mary Ann of 14 years; Sons Thomas Slaney of Lethbridge, AB; Daughter Kayla Slaney (Kirk Timm) of Lethbridge, AB; Grandchildren Kaiden & Hailie Timm; Parents Essie Brake of Creston South and Terry (Catherine) Slaney of Halifax, NS; Sisters Darlene Barry (Karl Young) of Marystown, Herberta Barry (John Lake) of Jean de Baie, Jacqueline (Gerald) Martin of High Prairie, AB and Tina (Kim) Fitzpatrick of Flat Rock, St. John’s; Brother Herbert (Colleen) Barry of Jean de Baie; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by Grandparents Angela & Stephen Brake, and Mary & Joseph Slaney; and Step-Father Bernard Brake.

The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial took place on Tuesday, July 15th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown. Interment followed at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Cemetery in Spanish Room. In Terry’s memory donations may be made to The Slaney Family or flowers gratefully accepted.
