Peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, July 19, 2014 of Mrs. Bernadette Murphy of Charlottetown age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Maurice H. Murphy and dear mother of Linda (George) Corney and Roger (Noreen) Murphy. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Kellyanne (Craig) Roche, Katherine (Jonathon) MacDonald, Phillip Corney, Cheralynn Corney, great grandchildren, Olivia, Charlotte, Carson Roche and Harrison MacDonald, and her sisters, Winnie McInnis and Fran Barker. She was also predeceased by her parents, John and Bernadette (Dunphy) Hegarty, brothers, Joe, Bob, John, Jim, George and Tom Hegarty.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday morning, then transferred to St. Patrick’s Church, Ft. Augustus for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery, Ft. Augustus. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
