It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary A. Walsh of Little Bay announces her passing at The U.S. Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence, on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2014, at the age of 90. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons Angus Jr. (Margaret) of Creston South, Eugene (Mary) of Little Bay, Thomas (Joan) of Little Bay, and Roland Sr. (Philippa) of St. John’s; Daughters Elizabeth (Marcel) McCarthy of St. John’s, Bernice (Ken) Barnes of CBS, Doreen (David) Murphy of Creston North, Amy (Joseph) Rowlands of Little Bay, and Sharon (Thomas) Brake of St. John’s; Son-in-law Robert Ryan Sr. of St. John’s; 21 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by Husband, Angus Walsh Sr. and Daughter, Ellen J. Ryan.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Friday, July 25th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Little Bay. In Mary’s memory donations may be made to The U.S. Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or flowers gratefully accepted.
