HANSON, DORIS AMY - Doris A. Hanson of Greenhill Lake, NB passed way July 24, 2014 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Doris was born at Brewers Mills, NB in 1918, a daughter of the late Herman and Hepsie (Estey) Brewer. She was an adherent of Lower Hainesville Wesleyan Church. Doris is survived by a daughter, Ardith Rosborough and a son Darrel Hanson (Marjorie), both of Greenhill Lake, NB; a sister, Phyllis Morehouse, Zealand, NB; a brother, Leo Brewer (Freda), Brewers Mills, NB; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ashley Hanson; three sons, Stephen, Dale and Garnet Hanson; a son-in-law, Winston (Wink) Rosborough; a sister, Leota Forbes-Hill; three brothers, Gerald Brewer and infants Harold and Irvine.
Visiting hours will be held at Lakeside Chapel, 40 Greenhill Lake Road, Greenhill Lake, NB on Saturday afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. from Lakeside Chapel with Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer and Rev. Scott Lewis officiating. Interment at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Doris, the family has suggested the Lower Hainesville Wesleyan Church or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
