Suddenly at the Western Hospital, Alberton, with his family by his side of Leamon Joseph DesRoche of St. Felix age 57 years. Loving husband to Edith Marie (nee Tramblay) DesRoche and cherished father to Penni (Mike) Moase of Vancouver, B.C. Born Jan. 14, 1951, he was the son of the late Arthur and Alice (nee Perry) DesRoche. Dear brother to Arthur Jr. of Paris, Ont., Elva (late Douglas) Getson of Tignish, Shirley (Clifford) Harper of Norway, Betty (Cyril) Doucette of Moncton, brother-in-law to Judy (Willard) Murphy of Tignish, Dianna (Frank) Dube of New Hampshire, Rayburn Tremblay of Charlottetown. He was predeceased by a brother, Lyman, in infancy as well as his father and mother-in-law, Eddie and Doris Tremblay. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Judes Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment later in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Tignish Fire Dept. or to the Western Hospital equipment fund would be gratefully appreciated.
