Peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Monday, July 28, 2014 of Jerry Evans of The Corrigan Home, Charlottetown and formerly of Afton Road, age 64 years.
Son of the late Thomas and Agatha (McGuigan) Evans. Brother of Jim of Champion Court, Viola Evans-Murley (Dick) of Stratford, Walter of Afton Road and Lillian Mitchell (Leonard MacDougall) of Charlottetown. Jerry is also lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews, Tannis Lynn Harrison, Shauna Rae Saroufim, Dana Hancock, Bonnie Murley, John Murley, Darren Mitchell, Stephen Murley and Chad Murley. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Harrison.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Friday morning then transferred to St. Bonaventure's Church, Tracadie Cross for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
Visiting hours on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
