Passed suddenly away at the Health Sciences Centre on March 17, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer, Everett M. Squires, age 71 years. Predeceased by his father Alvin Squires. Leaving to mourn devoted wife, Lorraine (Adams); son Trevor (Carla); daughter Lorelei (Shawn) Billings; grandchildren: Dahlia and Alex whom he adored; mother Clara Barnes; sisters: Lillian Thomas (Gilbert), Benetta Sparkes (Leonard); brother Guy Squires (Anne) and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 7-9 p.m., on Thursday, March 20, and Friday, March 21, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Memorial United Church, Portugal Cove on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt.
