SPRINGHILL – It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Thomas "Tommy" Shiers, age 74, of Springhill. Tommy passed away suddenly at the All Saints Hospital, Springhill on Saturday, August 2, 2014.
Born in Newport Station, NS, he was a son of Thomas and Kathleen "Duds" Shiers.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Jane Marshall, Springhill; sons Steven, Springhill and David, Edmonton; step-son William Dahr, Springhill; brother Bill, Moosejaw, SK; sister Kelly, Windsor, NS.
Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Service, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place in Windsor, NS, at a later date.
