Passed peacefully away at The Carmelite Home March 16, 2008, Thomas John Stead in his 88th year of Grand Falls, formerly of Salvage. Loving father to Harrison and Christine (Francis). Adored poppy of ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Brother of Nora Brown and Ruth Young, sister-in-law Mary and Andy Hewitt. Predeceased by wife Eliza, son Ronald, great-granddaughter Noelle, daughter-in-law Shirley. Also sisters Drucella, Jose and Liz. Funeral from St. Stephen Church, Salvage, Wednesday, March 18, 2008, at 2 p.m. Donations gratefully accepted for St. Stephen's Cemetery Fund.
