Peacefully at her late residence in Piusville on Thursday, August 7, 2014, with the love and support of her family of Bernice Marie Gallant beloved wife of the late John H. Gallant age 83 years. Born December 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Eva (nee Gallant) Blanchard. Lovingly remembered by her son Russell and wife wife Peggy of Piusville. Cherished grandmother to Leeann (Chris) Wood of Bloomfield; Kelly (Steve) Amos of Saint John, N.B.; Kathy (Alex) Crandlemere of Saint John, N.B. Great-grandmother to Deven, Christopher, Logan. Dear sister to Melvin (Annette) Blanchard of Saint John, N.B., and Don (Mary) Jones of Piusville. She is also survivied by a sister-in-law, Merina Blanchard of Summerside. She was predeceased by a brother Leo. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Saturday from St. Anthony's Church, Woodstock, at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Danny Wilson celebrant. Interment in the parish cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the West Prince Hospice of to St. Anthony's Cemetery Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
