The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, of James John Razavet of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 87 years. James was born on May 13, 1921, in Summerside, P.E.I., to his late parents Louis and Emma (nee Gallant) Razavet. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, James was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Louis and Ralph (Elizabeth), and his sisters, Mary (Louis) Gallant and Frances (Emmanuel) Gallant. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009, for Memorial Service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Following cremation , visiting hours on Wednesday evening, 7 to 9 p.m. only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in James memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated.
