HARRY WOODMAN

Card of Thanks
HARRY WOODMAN
An easy death at home, after a good life makes acceptance easier but life no less lonely. To the Emergency team and police officers who were so professional and considerate, thank you. Harry would have been very proud and grateful thanks to Joan in Ontario with family, immediately contraction our friends, Michelle, Elaine, Evelyn, Gordon, Shelly. Chrissie, Jigger and her son Danny, who came to my side immediately and took charge allowing the family time to comfort and be comforted. Also to those friends and family who dropped by and traveled longer distances to be with us, my sister, Joan, back from Ontario, Andrea from Germany, Sean for Ontario, God love you. David Wilton and Ray Burns arrived and together with Rev. Sheldon Chant, Wendy Lynk, Fr. Norman MacPhee, Jim Delaney, and Lilian, relieved me of great decisions and did so with respect and tremendous comfort. To the readers at the service, Daughter-in-law Janet Woodman, friend Gordon Sampson and cousin and friend, Mary Clancy, Halifax, you were special to us both and it showed, thank you. Special thank you to David and our grandson Brogan for your hard work to assure that Harry would be as proud of his property as if he did it himself. To NP Sandra Toner and her team for their warm and professional care, thank you so much. Harry keep you in a special place in his heart, you were a great comfort to us. To old friends and neighbour who rough food and special family recipes, those who send lovely floral arrangements, phone calls, sympathy cards, donations to charities, monetary gifts, you’re your acts of kindness during and since will never be forgotten. Rev. Chant’s service was inspirational, warm, happy and tearful. Thank you Fr. MacPhee for the consecration of the ground for Harry on a day you were in great demand. The music with Aaron Lewis and Rev. Sheldon Chant brought missed feelings of reverence, wonder and awe and is still being spoken of in that same way. We sincerely thank everyone who took time from jobs and busy lives to show your respect by attending the service. If I missed you it means you are deeper in my heart. From and to each of our families, my love and thanks, Mary, Paddy and Sheila, Port Hawkesbury,
Caorl and Fred, Kentville.
