The death occurred peacefully, with family by her side, at Colville Manor, Souris, of Ardyce Leard nee (Haslam), formerly of Souris, age 90 years.
Beloved wife of the late Raymond Leard. Loving mother of Waldron (Fern) and Boyd (Joyce). Grandmother of Susan Leard and Teri Proude (Lisa). Great-grandmother of Talys, Landen, and Sylvia Proude. Also remembered by special friend Kathy MacDonald. Survived by her sister, Joyce Loo, and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents, William and Margaret Haslam; infant brother, Boyd; and brother-in-law, Gerrit Loo.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visitation hours on Monday evening, August 25, 2014, from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at St. Elizabeth’s Anglican Church in Springfield, P.E.I., from 1 p.m. until time of funeral. Funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
