The death occurred at the Halifax Infirmary on August 22, 2014, of Edwin Peter MacKinnon, Murray River, age 74.
Survived by wife, Helen Lois; daughters, Lorraine (Billy), Cindy (Jamie); and son, James (Stacey). Remembered by grandchildren William, Michael, Derek, Jason, Kelsey, Hannah, Isabelle, James, Sean, Katrina and great-grandson, William.
Predeceased by daughter, Carla Lynn; parents, Harold and Hannah (Campbell) MacKinnon; and sister, Helen Young.
Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River. No visitation by family request. Funeral service from the funeral home chapel for family and friends on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at 2 p.m. Interment in Murray River Cemetery.
