Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, August 21, 2014, Alonzo Vokey of Clarenville, aged 58 years. Predeceased by mother Caroline Vokey, brother Chester Vokey and guardian dad Eliol George. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Stella of 28 years; dad Henry Vokey; guardian mom Evelyn George; son Scott Vokey (Kelly); stepchildren Tina Mackey, Peggy Mackey (Chad), Tammi Mackey, Cindy Stagg (Roger) and Ronald (Louise); grandson Damien; granddaughter Natasha; great granddaughter Sadie Grace; step-grandchildren Gillian, Amber, Tiffany, Kamran, Felicia, Ryder, Hunter and Angelica; sisters Jane (Bob), Josephine (Hedley), Bonnie (Don) and Bernice (Darryl); brothers Stanley (Barb), Howard (Tamar), Cyril (Sheila), Wayne (Sharon), David, Austin (Shirl) and Ivan; sister-in-law Hilda (Wallace); and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at the Mortuary Chapel, Trinity. Funeral service took place on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Trinity with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Trinity.
