After a brief hospitalization, Lorna passed with great dignity at Oshawa with family by her side.
Born in Port Arthur and raised in Carleton Place, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Lowe), wife of the late Alf Davies, loving mother of Jim Bennett (Mary), Bill Bennett (Wendy) and the late Mark Bennett, grandmother of Tracey (Scott), Jennifer, Kelly, the late Andrew and Joel, and great-grandmother of Ben, Sydney and Jack. She will be missed by her many friends and bridge partners in Oshawa, Gibson’s Landing and Ottawa.
As per Lorna’s wishes, her life will be celebrated at a private family ceremony.
