We, the family of the Late Lloyd Donovan wish to express our sincere thanks to all of our family, friends and neighbours in our time of sorrow.
Many thanks for those who visited, phoned, sent flowers, food, sympathy cards and charitable donations. A very special thank you to all of you who attended the wake and funeral service and for those of you who could not attend, we know he was in your prayers. Thank you to our wonderful Doctors, Nurses, Homecare Nurses and all of the staff at Buchanan Memorial Hospital for taking such good care of Lloyd during his illness. Special thanks to Wanda Barron who made several visits to our home and who was always there for Lloyd and Vi. We wish to thank Rev. Carolyn Sharp for the beautiful service and Rev. Margie Wood for her lovely singing of ‘How Great Thou Art’. Thank you to the Pallbearers: Wayne, Bruce, Blair, Ricky, Robbie, Andre, Kevin, Charles, Daniel and Shawn.
Thank you to Kelvin Hussey and Paula Mayich for the readings, Katelyn March for doing an excellent job on the piano and Russell MacLellan for his kind words all of which made the funeral service such a fitting tribute to the man Lloyd was. We are also grateful to the staff of Fillmore and Whitman Funeral Home in Ingonish for the professionalism and support they gave to our family. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to the St John’s ACW for providing such a lovely lunch to everyone following the funeral service.
