On Aug. 27, 2014; Charlene Renee LaPierre after returning to her roots in Cape Breton for a family gathering, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Charlene will be remembered for her strength, wisdom, humour, courage and hope.
Charlene will forever watch over her husband, Mike and children, Carli and Joey. Her love knows no bounds for her mom, Rita McKinnon (nee Deveaux), her father Roy 'Buzz' McKinnon, both of Glace Bay and her father-in-law, Joe LaPierre of Prince Edward Island. She will live forever in the hearts of her grandmothers, Jeanette Deveaux and Sue McKinnon also of Glace Bay. Charlene graced all of us with her unconditional love and passion for her aunts, uncles, friends and co-workers; in numbers too large to mention.
Charlene was predeceased by her grandfathers, George Deveaux, Roy McKinnon Senior and her grandmother-in-law, Gail LaPierre.
Funeral arrangements have been made under the direction of Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay, with visitation being held Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 from 7-9 p.m.
