LITTLE, RONALD ALLAN - Ronald A. Little, formerly of Harvey Station, NB passed away peacefully at the York Care Centre on August 27, 2014. He was born September 22, 1917, the only son of the late Arnold and Zilla (Coburn) Little. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, Marian (Hamilton) Little in 2007. He is survived by two sons, Rev. Dr. Brad Little (Margie) and David Little (Sabina); a granddaughter, Emily Goodwin (Joel); several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Ronald was predeceased by his two sisters, Pearle Lister (Maurice) and Ruth Robison (Gilbert). Ronald lived his entire life until 2009 at the family homestead where he operated with his father, then son, Littleholm Farm, a dairy farm of purebred Jerseys. He was a hard worker and quick witted- a devoted husband, father and grandfather who could always enjoy a laugh at his own expense. For the past five years he has made his home at the York Care Centre, Fredericton, NB where a kind and devoted staff became wonderful family to their "Poppa". The Little family will be forever indebted to the Tower 2 YCC staff for their loving care for him and each of us.
Visitation will take place at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 2350 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Kay Clowater officiating. Interment will take place in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church CE Centre.
