It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing in the arms of his loving mother Luke Garrett Hayes at the age of 30 years. Predeceased by his best friend Chris Codner; Grandparents Earl and Marie Hayes; cousin Eugene Hayes and Uncle Fergus Dillon Jr. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his parents JoAnne and Earl Hayes; Grandparents Bernard and Patricia Howlett; Aunts: Judy (Dave Myers), Kathi (Greg Noah), Eileen (Tony Mullett), Bernice (Dean Fardy), Patty (Ian DeLong), Brenda (Ken Strickland), Heather Dillon, Pam Howlett and Gail (Hayes) Ryan; Uncles: Bernard Howlett Jr., Paul Hayes (Wendy) and Rick Hayes (Shirley); beloved canine companion Molly; numerous loving cousins and special lifelong friend Ian Thistle. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home Torbay on Thursday August 28, from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday August 29 from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place from Holy Trinity Parish at 10 a.m. on Saturday August 30, 2014. Interment to follow at R.C. Cemetery, Bauline Line. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the "Chris Codner Memorial Fund" c/o Holy Trinity High School.
