(nee Underhill) Passed away at St. Luke's Homes on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, Ruth C. Coughlan (Underhill) in her 96th year. Born in Blackville, New Brunswick, she lived in all four Atlantic provinces during her lifetime, with her retirement years being spent in the Miramichi area. Her last years were spent in St. John's, NL, close to her daughter Jean and family. Predeceased by her husband John W. Coughlan; her siblings: Helen Graham, Bernice Underhill and Cameron Underhill; her daughter Mary (Brian (Emes) and her son-in-law Gerald Marks. She is survived by her daughter Jean Marks; son-in-law Brian Emes; three grandchildren: Doug Marks (Lisa Power), Ruth Marks (Ken Taylor) and Ted Emes (Sara Cooke); four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorial service to take place in the Chapel at St. Luke's Home, on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. with a reception to immediately follow. Inurnment in the City of Miramichi at a later date.
