Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, St. John's on Friday, August 29, Reuben Wallace Pottle, aged 92 years. Reuben was the son of Albert and Alice Pottle of Flatrock near Freshwater, Conception Bay. Predeceased by brothers Kenneth and Lester; sisters Ada, Allison, Nina, Florrie, Kathleen, Lavinia, and Anne. Leaving to mourn brother, Oliver in New Hampshire, USA; sister-in-law Viola Pottle, Salmon Cove, cousins, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear on Saturday, August 30 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 31 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31 at Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment will follow at the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. Special thanks to the care and nursing staff at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, where Reuben has been a resident since 2001.
