Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 21, 2008, in her 79th year, after a long battle with cancer. Loving wife of Dave. Beloved mother of Mary Jane and Susan and her husband Bruce. Very proud grandmother of Eliza Jane and Caroline. Loving sister of Jane, Mary, Bernice and Dunelda. Predeceased by her parents, Katherine and Duncan; and her brothers, Hugh, Colin, Oswald and Orman. Elizabeth was a successful thoroughbred horse breeder with her stable Lady Slipper Farm. Friends called at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket, Ontario, for visitation on Tuesday, December 23, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Christ Church, Kettleby, Ontario, on Wednesday, December 24, at 11 a.m. Interment at Argyle Shore Cemetery, P.E.I.
