The death occurred peacefully at the Colville Manor in Souris on Sunday, December 21, 2008, of Evelyne MacAulay, age 96 years. Beloved wife of Francis MacAulay. Loving mother of Maureen Huet (Ray); Elaine Howlett (David) and Kenny. Fondly remembered by six grandchildren, Shanna, Landyn, Meaghan, Thomas, Kimberley and Dominique; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, George, Alfred, Irwin, Roy and Joseph Cairns and sisters, Agnes, Mary Ella and Helen. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral to be held on Saturday morning, December 27, 2008, to St. Alexis Church in Rollo Bay for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
