Passed away on September 3rd, 2014 at the Health Science Centre, age 76, Frank J. Gladney of Portugal Cove. Predeceased by his parents; Richard and Margaret Gladney, four brothers, and three sisters. Left to mourn; his wife Sheila (Ryan), Sister Patsy McAllister, sister- in - law Gertrude Gladney. Sons, Thomas (Marie), Alberta, Michael, Perry (Judy). Daughters, Barbara Oliver (Walter) and Gail Gladney. Grandchildren, April and Crystal Gladney, Vonda, Ashley, Alisha and Coady Noel, Nicki Grant, Francis Oliver, Amanda Glombien, and Mark Gladney, as well as 10 Great- Grandchildren. Step sons, Pierre Critch (Anita), Paul Critch (Rhonda). Step Daughters, Dena Tucker (Andy Stimson), Jacqui Critch (Paulette Samson). Step Grandchildren, Stephen Critch, Christopher, Michael, and Justin Tucker, Samantha and Makayla Critch, as well as 1 step Great Grandchild, and special friend and care giver Lisa Lawlor. Frank will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. At his request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell's Funeral Home, Freshwater Road September, 5th, 2014 from 11 am to 9 pm. A Funeral of Christian Burial will be held from Holy Rosary Church, Portugal Cove, September 6th, 2014 at 11 am. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations to charity of one's choice.
