Mason, Olla Marie, 88, of Windsor, Hants County, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on January 20, 1926 in Gypsum Mines, Hants County. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Madeline (Cochrane) Lockhart. She was a former president of the Ladies Auxiliary, Hants County Branch .009 Royal Canadian Legion, in Windsor. She was a member of the Newport Jolly Seniors. Olla enjoyed bowling and playing darts. Surviving sons, Douglas (Barbara) Mason, Truro and their son, Colin (Patty) and their children, Elliot and Emma; Howard (Valerie) Mason and their two children, Heather and Lindsay, Athabasca, Alberta; Frederick “Fred” (Leanne) Mason and their children, Jody and Ryan, Crofton, British Columbia; sisters, Irma Rourke , Windsor; Gwen McCann, Gypsum Mines; Pauline Lockhart, Mantua; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond; brothers, Donald, Howard; sister, Helena Smith. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2014 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, Windsor. Memorial service was held 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Debra Mosher officiated. Interment was in the Maplewood Cemetery.
