MALLARD, SABINA (nee MacLEOD) - The family of Sabina Mallard is mourning the loss, but celebrating the life of a loving wife, a nurturing and compassionate mother, a doting grandmother and a loyal friend and confidante to many. Sabina passed away peacefully, on September 8th, 2014 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. She will be greatly missed by Clarence, her devoted and loving husband of 55 years, her sons Russ (Christine) and Les (Susan) and daughter, Jane. Sabina was a significant part of the lives of her six grandchildren, Emily, Jonathan, Ellen, Anna, Matthew and Sarah and they will forever feel her love.
Funeral arrangements for Sabina are entrusted to the Belvedere Funeral Home, Charlottetown, PEI. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The funeral mass will be held Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Church in Charlottetown. Interment will take place in the Our Lady of Assumption Cemetery in Stratford PEI, immediately following the funeral. Family flowers only please. Donations may be made in Sabina’s memory to the PEI Integrated Palliative Care Program or the PEI Cancer Treatment Center at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
