It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret announce her peaceful passing on Sept. 8, 2014, at 11 p.m. in New Waterford Hospital.
Born in New Waterford, she was a daughter of the late John and Euphemia (MacKinnon) Campbell.
Margaret was a member of Calvin United Church, New Waterford. She enjoyed her TV shows, pet cats, shopping and feeding the birds. Most of all, she loved her family.
She was a loving mother and grandmother to daughter, Nancy Jones, at home; grandsons, Kerk (Beth), Adam (Clare), both of New Waterford. Margaret is survived by sisters, Adeline Moulins, Westmount and Phemie Smith, Halifax.
Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband Arthur, son, Shannon, brothers, Lauchlin, Victor, Malcolm, George, Lawrence, Douglas, Allistar, sisters, Christine Crombie, Annie Rich and Catherine Fletcher.
She will be greatly missed.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. A funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Donald MacDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Cemetery, Scotchtown.
