WOODMAN:Harry - An easy death at home after a good life makes acceptance easier but life no less lonely. To the Emergency team and police officers, professional and considerate, thank you. Thanks to Joan, Dan, Michelle, Elaine, Evelyn, Gordon, Shelly, Chrissie and Jigger who came quickly to comfort and be comforted. To friends and family who attended, some travelling long distances, Joan back from Ontario, Andrea-Germany, Sean-Ontario, Harry's sister Carol & Fred-Kentville, Owen and Florence, Halifax, Paddy and Sheila. Mark and Pam Eyking, Roger Cuzner, your timing so rushed and appreciated, God love you all and David Wilton, Ray Burns, Rev. Sheldon Chant, Wendy Lynk, Fr. Norman MacPhee, Jim Delaney and Lillian, who relieved me of great decisions with respect and tremendous comfort. The readers,
daughter-in-law Janet Woodman-Truro, friend Gordon Sampson and cousin Mary Clancy- Halifax, always special to us both, thank you. Special thanks to son David and grandson Brogan for your hard work, Harry would have been so proud. Sandra Toner and her team for their warmth and professional care, thank you. To friends and neighbors for food, special family receipes, floral arrangements, phone calls, sympathy cards, donations to charities, monetary gifts, your acts of kindness during and since will never be forgotten. Rev. Chant's service was inspirational, warm, happy and tearful. Thank you Fr.MacPhee for the consecration of the ground for Harry on a day you were in great demand. The incredible staff at Forest Haven and Chant's Funeral Home, each and everyone, my love. The music with Aaron Lewis and Rev. Sheldon brought mixed feelings of reverence, wonder and awe and is still being spoken of in that same way. We sincerely thank everyone who took time from jobs and busy lives to show respect by attending Harry's service. If I missed you it means you are deeper in my heart.
