It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary-Louise Smith (nee Stanley) after a courageous battle with cancer at the Health Science Centre surrounded by her loving family and friends on Thursday September 11, 2014 two days before her 54th birthday. A loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, she was predeceased by parents Harry and Mildred, brother Allan, mother-in-Law and father-in-law Eric and Genevra Smith. Left to mourn are her loving husband and best friend Keith, two sons whom she adored Scott (Lesley Summers) and Adam, five brothers Carlson (Yvonne), Tolson (Bridie), John, Scott (Marie) and Andy, her only sister and shopping buddy Eva (Gerald) and all her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and relatives. Leaving with fond memories the daughter she never had Tammy McCrowe (Michael), her very special best friend Holly Martin (Paul), her card buddies Eva, Susan, Lorraine, Lily and Linda, her co-workers at St. Patrick's Mercy Home and the Hoyles Escasoni Complex and her large circle of loving friends. Special thank you to Dr.Michelle Wagoner and the Nurses and Doctors of 4North A at the Health Science Centre. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday September 14, 2014 10am -10pm and Monday September 15, 2014 10am-10pm. Funeral service will take place at the St. Paul's Anglican Church, Goulds at 10am on Tuesday September 16, 2014 with interment to follow at St. Matthew's Anglican Cemetery, Kilbride.
