ALLAIN, EMERISE - 1920 - 2014 - Emerise Allain, 93, of Bouctouche Cove, passed away peacefully, at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Sunday, September 14th, 2014. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and the late Melina (Richard) Allain. Emerise was a lady with a heart of gold. She was an avid gardener and loved looking after her home, but her greatest pleasure was giving to her family. She will be sadly missed by her sister Lina Allain and brother Lionel both of Bouctouche, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters; Alice (2001) and Alma (2005), six brothers; Aurèle (1996), Leonard (1998), Calixte (2002), Edouard (2002), Gerard (2011) and Joseph in infancy as well as two sisters-in-law; Aldéa (1976) and Germaine (2014).
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday, September 16th, 2014 from 10 to 12 and 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery. In Emerise’s memory donations may be made to the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital Foundation.
