Brother William F. Howard, CFC, Passed peacefully away on September 22, 2014, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Miller Center in St. John's, Newfoundland, Brother William F Howard, CFC, aged 84 years. Son of the late John Thomas and Mary Josephine (Colbert) Howard of Daniel's Cove, T.B. Leaving to mourn his brothers: Kevin (Carmel), Bernard (Anita), and Felix (Joanne); his sisters: Anastasia Hannon (Bill, RIP), Betty Howard, Marie Wakeham (Patrick, RIP), Rosalie Quinlan (Gilbert, RIP), Eileen Chrapchynski (Roy), Veronica Williams (Randall, RIP), Mary Wilson (Chuck), and Maureen Howard (Calvert Davis); his brothers of the Congregation of Christian Brothers, and many nieces and nephews and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Miller Center for their care. Waking at Mount St. Francis, 4 Merrymeeting Road, St. John's, NL A1C 6K8 Visitation: Tuesday, Sept. 23rd 7:00 - 9:00 pm Wednesday, Sept 24th 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday night at 8:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept 25th at 9:30 am in the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment will follow in the Brothers' plot in Belvedere Cemetery.
