BABINEAU, LORRAINE - Lorraine Babineau, 83, of Résidence du Marais in Dieppe and formerly of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on September 10, 1931 in Aldouane, she was the daughter of the late Placide and Marguerite (Richard) Robichaud. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Yvon; three children: Bernard, Solange and Michel; seven sisters and brothers: Adrien, Jeannine Gray (Sylvère), Aline Caissie (Bernard), Lorette Babineau, Aurella Chevarie (Emile), Stella Fontaine (Marcel) and Rose Malingré (Jean-Marie); several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six sisters and brothers: Eva, Guy, Doris, John, Céleste and Eloi.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 9 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11 am. Interment will be in Aldouane Roman Catholic cemetery. In memory of Lorraine, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
