George William Wheeler passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014 at the Western Memorial Regional in Corner Brook, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 82. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, his son Todd MacDonald (Kim); grandchildren, Steven and Todd jr.; sisters: Emma and Florence, brother Ken (Doreen); sisters-in-law: Jean, Sylvia and Evelyn, as well numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Lillian Wheeler; brothers: Simion, Albert, Joel, Jack and Henry; brothers-in-law: Ron Cook and Roy Lock. The funeral service will be held Friday, September 26th at 11:00 a.m. from St. Ambrose Church, John’s Beach with Reverend Nelson Chatman officiating followed by the interment at the church cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
