It's been a year since we had to say goodbye to the most fantastic mom, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend we could have asked for, Anne Louise (Lou) Leith. We, the children she brought into this world (and often threatened to take out of it when we were especially annoying), want to express our thanks to everyone who has helped us and our grandmother, Hilda MacDonald, get through this very difficult time. Lou was an exceptional woman whose love for her family, sense of humour, pride in this beautiful island, and presence is both cherished and missed every day. We miss you, we love you, we'll always have you in our hearts.
