Peacefully at Andrews of Charlottetown on Friday, September 26, 2014 of Sister Georgina Hughes CND (Sister St. Patricia Anne), age 89 years.
Daughter of the late Fred and Annie (MacAulay) Hughes. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Carr; sister-in-law, Frances Hughes; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her siblings, Freda Hughes, Mary Marcotte, Margaret Morrison, Pat Hughes, Sr. Anita Hughes, Sr. Katherine Hughes, Justin Hughes, Fred Hughes, Sr. Rita Hughes, Ray Hughes, Joe Hughes, Lalie Corrigan, Sr. Theresa Hughes, Bernie Campbell and Patricia Carr.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 3 to 5 p.m.
