Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, Robert S.B. McLean, aged 65 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 48 years, Phyllis (nee Pendergast); his son Robert Albert; two grandchildren: Chelsea and Ryan; step-mother Ann Foster; step-brothers: Robbie and David; step-sister Gwyneth; sisters-in-law: Mary Ann Erese (Benjamin), Ruby Libungan and Helen Parker; special aunt, May Luciano; special cousins: Boyd Taylor (Violet) and Herb Ebsary (Anna); special friends: Jerry Harris and Tom Coady (Edith) and special caregiver Laura Clarke; also a large number of aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Noel Browne and Dr. M. Berman and the nurses and staff of 4 West at St. Clare's, especially nurse Barbara Morrissey. Visitation at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. Memorial service will be held from Barrett's Chapel on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road. A reception will follow the cemetery service at the St. John's Retired Citizen's Association, Bennett Avenue from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008. No flowers by request.
