Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizens Home, Clarke's Beach, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 27, 2014, Mrs. Emma J. Smith of South River, (formerly of Taylor's Bay, NL) aged 77 years. Predeceased by parents William and Catherine Bonnell (nee Hillier); son Frederick Smith; brothers: Stanley (Irene) Bonnell, Frederick (Dorothy) Bonnell, Gerald (Joanna) Bonnell, John Bonnell, Clyde Bonnell, Sister Edith (Clyde) Crewe, brothers-in-law: Reginald Dunne and Lancelot Hillier. Leaving to mourn husband Carl Douglas Smith, daughter Juanita (John) Drover; sons: Carl (Tina), Trevor (Wanda), Gary (Karen), Dean (Patricia), Kevin (Sherry Lynn); grandchildren: Nicholas (Anna), Brendan, Claire, Jamie (Michelle), Tanisha, John, Mitchell, Nicole, Brandon, Noah and Lexie; great grandchild Taylor Smith; brothers: Freeman (Beatrice) Bonnell, William Bonnell; sisters: Elsie (Kevin) Coleman, Verena Dunne, Ina Hillier, sister-in-law Marie (Alfred) Strang and special cousin Gladys Bonnell. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Clarke's Beach with visitation on Sunday: 10AM - 12 Noon, 2 PM - 5 PM and 7PM - 9 PM: Monday: 10 AM - 12 Noon. Funeral Service to take place on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 3:30 PM from The Anglican Parish of the Resurrection. Interment to follow at All Saints Anglican Cemetery Salmon Cove, South River.
