LEGER, ROGER GUY - Roger Guy Leger, 65, of Moncton, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014 after a lengthy illness at the St. John Regional Hospital. Born on May 26, 1949 in Robichaud Office, he was a loving son of the late Robert and Edmé (LeBlanc) Leger. Prior to his retirement in 1996, Roger was a taxi driver for Air Cab, Trius and White Cab as well as a school and charter bus driver. Roger will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 22 years, “Paula” Paulette (née Horvath) of Moncton and their cat Minette; one son, Shaun Leger and ex-wife, Leah Daigle-Leger; one sister, Muriel Leger, and two brothers: Rheal (late Pauline) and Hector (Pat), all of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Yvette; two brothers: Robert Jr and Alfred.
In accordance with Roger’s wishes, a memorial gathering on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm will take place at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). In memory of Roger, a contribution to the family would be appreciated. www.frenettefuneralhome.com
