October 4, 1926 - July 9, 2014
Mary was born in Crikvenica, Croatia (then Yugoslavia) and came to Canada when she was 14. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jim and recently, her younger son Phil. She is survived by her son Steve, his children Jamie, Jeffrey and Laurie, and the many friends and children who she welcomed into her home and active life.
Mary loved Gambier Island that came to be her home with Jim. She was a going concern--walking the trails and gravel roads of Gambier, cooking up a storm, and developing her magnificent west coast garden.
Her welcoming, smiling face is sorely missed.
