GEORGE WILLIAM "BILL" MULLINS
We, the family are the late Bill Mullins wish to thank and express our sincere appreciation to our family and friends for their kindness, love, and support during our recent loss. Thank you to those who sent food, sympathy cards, flowers and to those who made donations in Bill’s memory. Special thanks go to all who attended the visitation and funeral service. Thank you to all who travelled near and far to be with us in our time of sorrow. Hayward Mollon, Shirley and Horst Ammonn, Ken Sheppard , Carolyn Hann and the Smith family. A special thank you as well to the health care providers at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, including: Dr. Hewlett and the Renal Dialysis nurses, Dr. Puppala, Dr. Myatt and the wonderful nurses from 4A and 4E Palliative Care, the VON, the Red Cross and the Handy Trans, especially Stewart. A heartfelt thank you is extended to Archdeacon Brenda Drake from St. Alban’s Anglican Church for the thoughtful, beautiful service, as well as to the organist and the choir. And to granddaughter Ranee MacIntosh, words cannot express our appreciation for the lovely solo: Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling. You sounded like an angel! Poppy would have been so proud of your rendition of his favorite hymn as well as your creative slide show during visitation. To readers Betty Brown, Shelley Ross, and Ron MacIntosh, and to the ACW for the lovely lunch at St Alban’s Church Hall, our sincere thanks. Thank you to Bill’s Honorary Pallbearers: Long-time friends Maurice Antonello, Charlie Rose and grandsons Ryan, Warren and Mark Mullins and Connor MacIntosh. And finally to the management and staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel; thank you for your professionalism and compassion.
We will always be grateful to each of you. Bill will be missed terribly but will remain in our hearts forever.
