The death occurred at Stewart Memorial Home, Tyne Valley, on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, of Pauline Agnes Millar of Bideford, aged 95 years, wife of the late Robert Millar Sr. Born in Northam on Dec. 2, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Ivan and Jennie (Leard) Linkletter. Loving mother to Dorothy (Honorable Frank) Lewis, Charlottetown; Judy (Don) Gillis, Mermaid; Janice (Wayne) Trowsdale and Robert Jr. (Rene Gaudet), all of Bideford. Bideford. Cherished grandmother to 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Pauline is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband, brother Dr. Alfred (Dorothy) Linkletter, sisters Faye (James) Cameron, Ann (Arthur) Yeo and brothers and sisters in law Wilna (Horace) MacArthur, Eldon “John Bull” (Myrtle) Millar and Janette Millar. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours on Monday, Oct. 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Tyne Valley Presbyterian Cemetery. In memory of Pauline, memorials to the West Country Historical Society Inc., Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church or Stewart Memorial Foundation would be appreciated.
