Lombard, Kirby Paul - October 15, 1958 - October 4, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kirby Paul Lombard, 55, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Kirby was a kind man with a big heart who never hesitated to help someone in need. Kirby was a storyteller with a great sense of humour, who loved to laugh and to make those around him laugh, as well.
Dad fought many battles in his short life, but can now finally be at peace. Kirby is survived by his children, Melita Scott, Derrick, and Jessica (Nick) Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jeremiah, Bhreagh, and Charlie; his mother, Noreen (Williams); siblings, Reid (Eileen), Linda (Pat), Danny (Elaine), and Chuck; several nieces and nephews. Kirby is predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline (Wynn) and his father, Charles. We would like to thank Dr. Field, Dr. Smith, and the nursing staff on E3 stroke unit for their compassion in Dad's final days. No visitation. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, October 8 at 11:00 am in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Father Dariusz Miskowicz officiating.
