It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Bertram Livingston Bennett announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the age of 75 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Elizabeth; children: Gary (Julia), Paul (Della), Melvin (Doreen), Bert (Judy), Sylvia (Gervaise); grandchildren: Adam, Gary, Crystal, Patrick, Cheryl, Shane, Donavan, Sue Ellen, Darrell; great-grandchildren: Kaydence, Nicholas, Emma, D. J., Brody; brother Melvin (Anne); sisters: Sheila, Olivera, Jacquie (Howard) as well as nieces, nephews other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph & Mary Bennett, brother Percy; sisters: Viola, Irene, Ada, Marg, Lavern; grandchildren: Kanta, Ann and great-grandchild Dawson. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery , St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Memorial Fund.
