BLANEY, DORIS MYRTLE - Doris M. Blaney of Temperance Vale, NB passed away October 6, 2014 at Upper River Valley Hospital. Doris was born at Temperance Vale, NB in 1927, a daughter of the late Frederick and Myrtle (Lawson) Pickard. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by her husband, Walter Blaney in 1988; sisters, Annie Nicholson, Agnes Pike, Hazel Elliott, Freda Cole, Beatrice Hallett and Ruth Crossen and brothers, Ralph, Phillip and Beverly Pickard.
Although there will be no visitation, friends are welcome to attend a graveside service at St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery, 548 Route 595, Temperance Vale, NB on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11 am with The Rev. Fr. Kevin Borthwick officiating. Pallbearers will be Danny Libby, Dale Libby, Henry Gray, John Gray, Jesse Gray and Waldo Pike.
