Mollie died peacefully on September 23, 2014 at her home in Port Credit, Ontario.

Mary Isobel (Mollie) Robinson, nee Lewis, was predeceased by her beloved husband Albert W. (Bud) Robinson, father George Robert Lewis, mother Lillian Cameron Lewis, sister Lillian (Mrs. Richard Bradley), brother George (Buddy) and two daughters, Linda and Jill.

A very proud native of Prince Edward Island, Mollie was born in 1926 and raised on her parents’ farm near Charlottetown. Although she enjoyed life in Ontario for many years following her marriage to Bud Robinson, she never lost her immense love of P.E.I., its beautiful red soil, lobster suppers and ocean waves. She would always run down to the shore to taste the salt water of home each time she returned.

An extraordinary letter writer and correspondent, Mollie kept in touch with cards, letters and news clippings with all of her family of friends around the world, never missing a birthday or special occasion. She was a cheerful, loving friend and mentor to all of us, and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service was held at Trinity Anglican Church, Port Credit, on September 26. Mollie’s ashes will be buried at Sherwood Cemetery, Charlottetown in Spring 2015.
