It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernard Hanrahan of Little Bay announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Monday, October 6, 2014, at the age of 72. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife, Patricia of 48 years; sons; Bernard Jr. (Loretta) of Humboldt, SK, Jerry (Audrey) of Little Bay and Gordon (Wanda) of Airdrie, AB; brothers, Philip (Bridget), Martin (Margaret), John (Margaret) and Michael (Anne); sisters, Mary Walsh (Gerald) and Elizabeth Dober (Jim); 5 Grandchildren, Stephen, Krystle, Jerry, Jordan (Kelly) and Cameron; a large number of nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends, especially Brian, Sandi, Danielle and Haley Pinksen. He was predeceased by his parents, Susanna & John Patrick Hanrahan; mother and father-in-law, Ruby & Gordon Barry and special son, Roland Young.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown, on Thursday, October 9, at 10:00 a.m. Cremation followed. In Bernard’s memory donations may be made to the Hanrahan Family or flowers gratefully accepted.
